This project was one of the most fun tasks that I have taken on. When Dan Koett, Chief Marketing Officer at the Blue Grass Council, approached me to brainstorm an eye catching landing page for their record setting fundraising event, I knew right away that this would be a unique challenge. ‘Brave the Blue’ is a rappelling event for the Blue Grass Council, Boy Scouts of America in which they have raised more than $250,000 in a 2 year period.
The landing page had to tie Scouting with the intrigue of the 410′ ‘Big Blue’, the Lexington Financial Center. In this project, I wanted to incorporate the exciting atmosphere of the event, very much like a concert in it’s execution. You will see that the theme is a concert poster feel, taped to a brick wall advertising the event. The sponsors are uniquely displayed via a no parking sign, bolted to the wall.
